If my vehicle has lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision alert does my vehicle require calibration after a windshield replacement?

Many Newer vehicles have advanced driver assistance. In most cases, there is a camera attached to the windshield, or looking through the windshield. After a replacement that camera requires calibration to ensure it is working correctly. At Titan, we have the equipment and training to calibrate most vehicles at our shop.

Are there different grades of windshields?

There are cheap overseas windshields out there, many have distortions, have subpar mouldings, stress cracks or just poor looking. Some are made thinner and may not be shaped properly making for wind noises, stress cracks. At Titan we use top-quality glass that is made by the companies that make for the large auto manufacturers.

Can I wait for my windshield repair or replacement?

Yes, We do have a few seats for customers to wait in our office, free wifi is available. We are conveniently located half a block from Conestoga mall which may be more entertaining.

Is my vehicle safe to drive with a broken windshield?

A crack will not cause the glass to fall in, however, the windshield plays a crucial part in the vehicles structure. It should be replaced as soon as possible. A cracked windshield may also lead to a fine if pulled over.

Does my windshield repair/replacement come with a warranty?

Our windshield replacements come with a lifetime warranty against leaks, or any defects in the glass including our workmanship. Stone chip repairs come with a guarantee that if the repaired chip ever cracks we will refund the amount of the repair towards your windshield replacement.
