FAQs
Why does my vehicle need an oil change?
Engine oil breaks down over time and becomes more dense which worsens its ability to absorb heat, circulate and lubricate the engine and could cause overheating and eventually destroy the engine all together. For these reasons oil should be exchanged every 5,000 kilometres or at least twice a year.
What are the benefits of synthetic vs. standard oil?
Synthetic oil is more resistant to breaking down over time which makes it last longer than conventional standard oil. It is also more resilient to withstanding higher temperatures which prolongs the life of the vehicles engine
Do you take drop-ins?
Yes, drop-ins are welcome but we do ask that you call before, as we are busy and cannot always accommodate more work if we already have a full schedule for the day.
My tires have plenty of tread left, why do they need to be replaced?
Tires have a shelf life, and as they age the rubber hardens and starts cracking just as it does on a rubber band which reduces the traction to the road and increases stopping distance.
Can I drop my car off after hours?
You are more than welcome to drop off your car after hours and leave your keys in the drop box as long as you have an appointment the following business day.
