New Management! After forty years in business, the pandemic nearly closed our shop. I was originally tasked with closing the shop when I was transferred to this location. This was the shop I grew up around as a boy, “Dad’s shop”, how could I bring myself to shut it down? I couldn’t. So we remained open, lost all our staff except for one technician. I even took to painting while managing just to stay afloat. During that time, our local community and loyal customer base were the ones who sustained us. There were no claims which typically make up the majority of our business. It was all small jobs people needed us for that they were paying out-of-pocket. Eventually the lockdowns ended, the work returned and we hired new staff. We made it! I have not managed this location in well over ten years but I’m happy to be back in the community where I started with CK Collision so many years ago. We are looking forward to continuing the legacy of this location which will be entering its 45th year in 2023! Thank you to all the residence in our community for returning the favour of keeping us open through such a difficult time.
