#chevrolet #chevroletcamaro #67camaro project we've been working on for the past few weeks. New rear suspension, with brand new multi leaf springs and gas shocks to stiffen the back and dial in that hotrod stance and rake allowing it to now ride over any bump and not rub the back tires into the fenders. It had some guages that weren't functioning, so we got them working again. We replaced the broken heater core and had a new heater core custom fabbed to clear the tall valve covers with both inlet and outlet pipes curved the right way. Tuned the carb and ignition timing. Adjusted ride height in the front so that all 4 corners are at the same height. Dialed in the alignment and got all the geometry where I want it. Repaired the horn operation and also got the reverse lights working by custom making a little rod to connect the reverse light switch to the shifter linkage properly. While working on it up in the air, noticed the brake master cylinder was dripping fluid down the front of the brake booster. In with a new master and bled the brake system. This was a hard car to drive before. I think we've brought it to a point where the owner can confidently drive it this summer.
